On November 4, 2011 Film at the Institute presented a New York City premiere of multi-award winning documentary Genocide Revealed.

Genocide Revealed, a feature documentary produced and directed by Yurij Luhovy has won a series of awards in 2011 including Best Historical Film and Best Documentary.

The documentary is about the Ukrainian terror-famine of 1932-1933, the genocide against the Ukrainian nation known as the Holodomor. It is based on testimonies of survivors, declassified Soviet documents, commentaries by historians and rare historical footage. Millions perished. It reveals one of the greatest human tragedies of the 20th century.

The film is available in two languages, Ukrainian and English, and is narrated by Oscar-nominated actor Graham Greene and voice-overs are by actress Jill Hennessy and actor Lubomir Mykytiuk.
